Port & Logistics in Bremen

With its founding in 1932 in Bremen, the Vollers Group has its seeds in the The Free Hanseatic City. The Berthold Vollers GmbH is located at the River "Weser" in the so called "Überseestadt", an old port quarter, which is presently experiencing a revival. Our warehouses are visible for miles around and serve as a signpost in the port.

In Bremen, a great deal revolves around coffee. We store it in modern silo facilities for you, and handle, clean, blend and transport it directly to you in our own trucks. Furthermore, we store Arabica coffee for the New York stock exchange and Robusta coffee for the London stock exchange.

Beyond that, we import and store sensitive raw materials such as tea according to customer requirements in large halls at the 'Europahafen' and then blend, refine and transport them to you or your customers. Every tenth tea container imported into Germany is handled, processed and transported by us.

In addition, we store cocoa and numerous other high-quality goods and commodities in Bremen, from cotton to herbs and spices.

We reliably handle your commodities on a total storage area of 150,000 m² and in our own bonded warehouses. In 2004, we were certified according to the International Featured Standard (IFS) in the areas of coffee, tea and logistics and also fulfil the requirements of various organic regulations.

We have a total of 28 truck tractors and 60 trailers for the transport of your goods. We guarantee the safe transport of your goods through professional handling right up to loading. Our drivers are regularly trained in the product-specific handling of your goods.

Modern trucks and suitable software solutions ensure that your goods and our drivers are safe on the road. Our drivers are specially trained to drive in the most environmentally conscious way possible. This helps to save fuel and avoid emissions.
