Your tasks
- Personnel and material deployment planning
- Coordination and interface function with other operating centres
- Participation in the redesign or reorganisation of work systems and processes
- Support, guidance and management of subordinate employees
- Checking and processing orders in accordance with deadlines
- Controlling (operating, monitoring, checking) the storage and retrieval of incoming goods (lorries, containers, palletised and loose)
- Carrying out stock checks
- Sampling of goods
- Checking the quantity and condition of goods
- Responsibility for maintaining order and cleanliness within the company
- Driving and maintaining industrial trucks
- Taking responsibility for the careful, proper and hygienic handling of goods and corresponding loading aids
- Carrying out the necessary documentation in accordance with specifications
Your requirements
- Training in logistics / warehouse / production or technical training
- Proven work experience as foreman / supervisor / team leader or similar
- Hands-on mentality (‘get things done’ and ‘doer’)
- Assertiveness and strength of realisation
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Forklift licence (forklift licence)
- Solid understanding of IT (e.g. knowledge of handhelds)
- Confident command of written and spoken German
