Head of Finance (Nederland)
As the Head of Finance, you are responsible for the financial management and control of our Dutch entities. You work closely with the General Manager, lead the Finance team, and play a crucial role in financial decision-making. You leverage your analytical skills, communication, and leadership abilities to achieve this.
Vollers Holland B.V. is a logistics company specialising in the storage and transshipment of cocoa beans, coffee beans, tea, and general cargo in Amsterdam, Zaandam, and Dongen. With approximately 40 employees, it is one of 11 international companies that are part of the Vollers Group. Your tasks
- Prepare and manage monthly profit & loss (P/L) reports.
- Compile and submit year-end reporting packages.
- Financial and business controlling.
- Monitor and oversee loan agreements.
- Prepare CAPEX forms for capital expenditure.
- Supervise bookkeeping, controlling, treasury, and budgeting activities.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, tax advisors, auditors, and local authorities.
- Negotiate and manage leasing contracts.
- Ensure sufficient financing across all entities.
- Support the implementation of tax regulations and ensure compliance with financial laws and standards.
- Consulting the General Manager on financial matters, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Lead and develop the finance department of 4 employees. The Team Lead Finance coordinates day-to-day financial administration.
- Lead and implement finance-related process changes and projects.

Your requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent work and thinking level) in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience leading financial projects and a finance team.
- Experience within a complex international business structure.
- Experience managing multiple entities.
- Experience in the logistics sector is a plus.
- Knowledge of tax legislation and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial software.
- Fluent in Dutch and English. German is a plus but not required.
