What do you do as Logistics Employee at Vollers Holland B.V.?
As a Logistics Employee you are responsible for the entire logistics operation, together with your colleagues. The work in the warehouse you can alternate with reach and forklift work if you are in possession of a valid certificate.
For which company are you going to work?
Vollers B.V. is a medium-sized logistics organization that provides storage and handling of cocoa beans, coffee and general cargo in the ports of Amsterdam and Zaandam and has a branch in Dongen. At this branch, Vollers Tea Services B.V., the position of logistics employee has arisen.
The organization with about 50 employees (of which 10 in Dongen) is one of the eight international companies belonging to the Vollers Group. The Vollers Group is a professional partner with more than 85 years of experience in handling, transporting, declaring, storing and refining goods. Characteristic of the culture within Vollers is the informal atmosphere, hands-on mentality and focus on quality, results and innovation.
Your tasks
What work will appeal to you?
- Order Picking;
- Receiving goods, checking them and short-circuiting processing with administration;
- Forklift work;
- Packing activities;
- Storage and shipping;
- Performing checks.
Your requirements
What do you recognize yourself in?
- You have at least a mbo diploma.
- You have several years of experience in a similar position with knowledge of import containers and basic knowledge of logistics processes and warehousing.
- Experience with a forklift and in the possession of the certificate or willing to get one
- A sense of responsibility and accuracy are important in this position.
- You are communicatively strong and can cope well with stressful situations.
- You are a team player to organize the work together
